The French National Assembly unanimously voted to eliminate the "assis et levé" (sitting and standing) voting method, deemed discriminatory to people with disabilities. The resolution, proposed by député Sébastien Peytavie and Yaël Braun-Pivet, was made on the 20th anniversary of the 2005 disability law. The Senate will also modify its regulations accordingly on April 8.
